Frank Lampard wants Besiktas

Chelsea drew 1-1 with Atletico Madrid last night and with Roma beating Qarabag 1-0, Antonio Conte’s side had to settle for second place in Group C, reports express.co.

“I think it was good,” Frank Lampard said on BT Sport.

“I think in terms of general play they did everything they had to do. They were very solid in the first half without being spectacular.”

“They went 1-0 down to a mistake, they responded very well and just some nights those goals don’t go in. ”

The draw for the first knockout round takes place on Monday and the Blues can face Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain or Besiktas, who all topped their group.

“So let’s hope they draw Besiktas on Monday and they don’t have to worry about it, we’ll see.”
