Kondogbia: “I’d pay Inter Milan the €25m buyback fee”

Interviewed by Cadena SER, French defensive midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia (25), whom Valencia might buy back from Inter Milan next June, on a 25 million euros transfer fee, stated:

“I’ve been always having good feelings since I first came here. I think both the club and the fans are happy with my outcome on the pitch, while I’m determined to improve it more and more. Marcelino helped me a lot trusting myself again, after a quite unfulfilling season.”

“What was the matter with Inter? I think it’s too much of a chaotic environment: 4-5 different trainers in two years, most of the team changing every summer. Any club need stability, and keep on with the plan they are arranging, even when something isn’t turning out right from the start.”

“Anyway, I’m very happy here at Valencia, I immediately fit in, and I’ve got to keep on working for deserving to wear these colours. If I could, I’d pay €25m for the club to buy me back. But that’s easy to just say.”
