Leon Bailey set up both goals for Bayer Leverkusen to move fourth in the Bundesliga with a 2-0 win at promoted Stuttgart on Friday, reports vfb.
Following some comments from the players after the game.
Christian Gentner: “We didn’t play well in the first-half. After the re-start we initially did better and with an equaliser we would have been right back in the game. That unfortunately didn’t materialise. One point from the last three games is just not enough. We really want to notch up some points before the winter break.”
Timo Baumgartl: “We are disappointed about our first-half performance. We failed to generate the necessary pressure. Early in the second-half, Bernd Leno rescued Leverkusen. We must now analyse our mistakes and do better against Hoffenheim.”
